With a heated outdoor pool and tranquil gardens, this Grade II listed house is less than a mile from the cathedral city of Truro in Cornwall. Wi-Fi is free throughout the building, and there is free parking on site. Featuring homemade bread and jams, a traditional breakfast is provided each morning at South Penarth B&B. Food is made from local ingredients, and served in the panelled dining room. Each room comes with homemade biscuits and chocolate treats, as well as a bowl of fruit and fresh flowers. Most have stunning views, and all have a digital TV, DVD player, and Egyptian cotton bedding. South Penarth has a secluded location surrounded by farmland. The village of St Clement is less than a mile away, and is situated on the banks of the River Fal estuary.

Judy and chris were so friendly they made us feel completely at home. The room was fantastic, bed really comfy and all the comforts anyone would need. The house was beautiful with loads of character. Breakfast was brilliant so tasty and so much choice. Our stay was fab couldn't fault it. Judy was an excellent host and made sure my stay was relaxing . The accommodation was of the highest standard, and the an army could have marched on the breakfast. All in all a thoroughly relaxing and enjoying stay, and will hope to return soon .

The breakfast was cooked to perfection and certainly set you up for the day. A friendly welcome and great attention to our comfort. Would definitely return for another visit and would recommend it to anyone wanting a countryside break with access to the town and seaside. Really friendly welcome and helpful. Stunning old house. Our room was big & comfortable, the bathroom was, as my wife put it, "wonderful". Recommended to all and value for money.. N/Â. nothing at all wrong with the place. The surroundings are very charming and beautiful, but Truro itself, the city, is not worth a visit, except, maybe, the cathedral. Sadly the swimming pool was out of action during our visit. Slightly difficult to find, no sign posts to this accomodation. Nothing.
