  I liked the whole experience of staying at the Piersland. We received a warm welcome and were shown to the most beautiful room which had a wonderful bathroom almost as big as the room. The welcome in the dining room was equally as good and the food and wine were excellent. As we had to leave next morning to catch an early ferry, the staff went out... wat mensen zeggen » of their way to make sure that we had a super breakfast. We will certainly be going back and making sure our friends know about it. - I was at a wedding at a nearby hotel and did not have the opportunity to sample all of the Piersland's facilities. However I did find the staff and bar service first class. The room was the lodge/cottage to the left. My partner and I were very pleasantly surprised by the comfort and layout. Room service breakfast was more than sufficient.

  Fantastic Value for money. The rooms were huge and so was the bed. All modern fittings with speakers in bathrooms. Breakfast was exellent with a wide choice and all the staff seemed to genuinly enjoy their jobs which rubbed off on the atmosphere. We ate in the restaurant and the meal was excellent. This is a gem of a place close to Troon with well trained staff.

  Great location - the beach is just across the road. Ayr is just to the south & Largs, with the great pizzeria/gelateria is to the north. Staff at South Beach are wonderful - nothing is too much trouble here and you are always greeted with a smile. Rooms lovely & comfortable. The staff were lovely, the room was clean, cosy and relaxing to be in and had an good WiFi connection. The food was excellent. I have stayed in more expensive hotels and had inferior experiences to this one. I would recommend the South Beach Hotel to anyone!

  Marion was an exceptionally wonderful hostess - she made us feel welcome and comfortable, and even went to a lot of trouble looking up bus schedules and the like. The room was cozy and comfortable and the location is fantastic! Breakfast was also all we could hope for (note that it costs a little extra). - The beds were extremely comfortable an... wat mensen zeggen » d the breakfast was excellent. I particularly loved the bowl of fresh fruit salad that we could help ourselves to whilst waiting for our cooked breakfast. The owner was very friendly and even gave us a lift to the airport, for which she wouldn't take any money for.
