  The hotel looks lovlier when you see it in the flesh so to speak. When we arrived, reception was covered by a fairly large lady with a very large personality. She was helpful in explaining everything we needed to know for our stay and even more. Above all, she was delightful. The room was spacious with a view to their extensive grassed area where ... wat mensen zeggen » they had provided picnic tables for use by their guests. The tv was on the older side with limited channels but was ok for us. The tea/coffee faciliti - Me and my boyfriend stayed here when we went to alton towers for two days. Great location, only 15 minute drive away. We arrived to be greeted by lovely receptionist and our room was lovely. Basic and a little dated but was still clean and comfy. We had a carvery which was only £3.99! We got a couple of drinks which you can take outside, gorgeous surroundings next to the hotel, really nice and relaxing. Had a lovely sleep and breakfast next morning was really nice. All in all had a great stay,
