I highly recommend the Tall Storeys, Mauna & Ian the owners are a really lovely couple and made our stay really enjoyable. We stayed in room 4 which had a marvellous view of the harbour. The room had a four poster bed and it was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is to die for and can not fault our stay in shape or form. The location at the harbour end near the lighthouse and a short walk down the hill coming out near to the Nelson Public House. We will be booking again to stay at the. alle beoordelingen »
.. It's the best B & B We've ever stayed in!!!! Nothing was too much trouble .. We asked for a taxi number to ring one for the evening and Ian (Proprietor) said don't bother I'll take you to where you want to go to ... excellent ... The breakfast is cooked to order, so don't expect to get it in a hurry (not a problem) ... and when you get the breakfast steaming hot its really lovely :-) ... Thank you Ian and Morana.
The boutique Regency style accomodation was immaculate, rooms a bit on the small side but undertandable for the size of the building. The owners friendly and very helpful. Parking is a bit tricky if you don't understand the rules but you get plenty of help with that.Great Breakfast. Good place for a short stay and highly recommended.
The house we stayed in was full of interesting furniture and effects. There was a great view for the sea as we were up high. The breakfast was delicious and lots of healthy things to choose from. The garden and conservatory were beautiful. The owners were very friendly and made us feel at home.
The room was very clean with a smashing view of the bay. We had booked a
meal at Cafe Fish and the owner printed us a map to help us find it
which we appreciated. Breakfast was excellent in terms of the food.
The decor was beautiful and sea view from the room really good.

Wished we booked for longer ... it was brilliant.
Parking is very limited and the service at breakfast was a little slow.
There was noise from the room above - shouting and constant walking about between 3 and 4 am which disturbed us and stopped us from having a good night's sleep.
Free parking was a little difficult but spaces always became available. The hotel owner was eager to assist.
