Very friendly proprietor, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms very spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious. The area where the hotel is situated is easily within walking distance into Scarbrough town centre or seaside but is in a quieter part which means that you can sleep peacefully. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends and would return again myself.
alle beoordelingen » I liked the location as it was near the beach, sea and beautiful gardens. It was free of the noise and bustle of the north side of Scarborough. The breakfast was very nice. I noticed they used quality bacon because it wasn't full of salt, the room was as one would ave expected for the price - big, nicely deorated an clean. We had a great stay at no17 . Andy the owner was very pleasant and helpful .the breakfast was lovely . All the staff were so friendly . The rooms were big comfortable and clean . And it was a great location for the town and beach . Would defiantly stay at no 17 again . Excellent value for money. A really friendly hotel, good food, clean and in a good location. Parking usually a nightmare but couldn't be better - right outside the door. We will definitely be coming back to No. 17 and telling all our friends. Definitely a 10/10. We were greeted with a warm welcome - the hotel was warm and cosy - very clean. Breakfast was very nice - good quality food. The hotel is well situated - just a ten minute walk into town centre. I really didn't like arriving to a locked door and although we pressed the bell many times, no one came to open the door. I felt very uncomfortable about this as a first impression. Also, having to park streets away overnight, when your vehicle is out of view; obviously, not the hotel to blame, but maybe the local council should consider. Leaving. Nothing to dislike about No17. The room we had was height limited on one side of the bed and near the tv This was a bit awkward at times. No curtains at the window only blinds so let in lots of light early in the morning. leaving.
