  Our recent stay at The Westcot started our driving holiday around Scotland. After staying now in 5 more accommodations since then, we rate The Westcot as the best we have stayed in. There is attention to detail, the rooms are great, the appointments and little extras contained therein are very thoughtful, e.g. Bath robes, hot chocolate, lovely bi... wat mensen zeggen » scuits, tea and coffee, makeup remover. The wifi connections are superb. Breakfast is amazing with the range of choices (within reason) from Moe's ki - Carol and Bob were the loveliest couple who were exceptionally helpful and friendly. They made us feel like welcome friends in a non-intrusive way. They were full of information and helpful local knowledge. The room was nice and after being in London and some other cities it was lovely to be in a place that had a lovely view from every window.   Great location, very close to all the facilities in Callander (including Ciro's Italian restaurant, where the food was delicious) - massive room, very comfortable, and the best breakfast I have ever had at a B&B. I've never had potato scones before, and they were fantastic. The owners are very welcoming - I was there for a charity cycle ride a... wat mensen zeggen » nd they really looked after me. - Spacious room, comfortable beds, excellent tasty breakfast, nice helpful hosts. The town center is few minutes walk from the B&B where we had pleasant dinner. It was one of the best stays during our week sent traveling around Scotland.   As I have stayed at this hotel before, although some time ago, staff instantly recognised me, called me by name and were helpful, enthusiastic and efficient. Stirling Management Centre location in the grounds of the university is picturesque with great views and I saw deer in the morning. The biggest asset of the hotel is it's staff in particular the reception staff who are the first point of contact and have to deal - Staff were nice and friendly. I arrived extremely tired. When I asked about dinner, the options were explained to me and then the receptionist said I could have dinner in my room if I preferred, which sounded great. Food was good quality, if a little small in portion size and quite expensive. I also took part in an all day conference the next day. The food was very tasty then too. Breakfast buffet was particularly good. Thank you

  My partner and I stayed over at the Abbotsford Lodge after attending a beautiful wedding at the Roman Camp. We had one of the double rooms at the top, sharing a shower room with other guests. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodated our no feather bedding request with ease. The room itself was clean, comf - The host was probably the nicest person that we have ever met!
