The town center is few minutes walk from the B&B where we had pleasant dinner. It was one of the best stays during our week sent traveling around Scotland. If you travel by car and visit Stirling castle, we recommend The Knowe Guest House to stay before or after.

Carol and Bob were the loveliest couple who were exceptionally helpful and friendly. They made us feel like welcome friends in a non-intrusive way. Room was lovely, beds very comfy, full English breakfast cooked really well including choice of haggis or black pudding. Staff/proprietors very friendly. Parking in guest house grounds was a definite plus. Enjoyed our one night stay very much. We were made very welcome along with our dog. Would definitely return. -

The turndown service a night was a nice surprise.
We loved also discovering all the different nooks and crannies of the public rooms.
Delightful real fires in all public rooms including the dining room give a real country house feel.
