  The hotel and its fascilities were second to none. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean and was full of charachter. The food was amazing with a great dining room service. Montys spa was great, clean and we had a couple of treatments which were again very good. As someone who travels a lot and stays in some nice hote... wat mensen zeggen » ls, I would totally recommend this amazing place. - Marvelous place, very friendly reception, excellent serbive and food.

  Hotel wordt gerund door zeer aardig en attent Australisch echtpaar. kamers zijn top. Ontbijt is okee maar niet echt uitgebreid. De vieuw vanuit het hotel en de kamers is geweldig.Is erg landelijk gelegen. - We liked everything. Felt totally at home, so much so that we sat on the lounge floor in front of the 'real' fire each evening with the news pa... wat mensen zeggen » pers and a drink. How relaxing is that? The people running the hotel were so friendly and helpful. We would recommend it to everyone. The pool needs a special mentiion too, my family think we should get one just like it in our garden!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - This really is a wonderful place to stay. Only 8 rooms, but worth a 5 star hotel. Spacious room and bathroom, swimmingpool and jacuzzi ! The landlady is an excellent cook, the menu is limited but just try the minestrone and the penne: superb ! And not expensive at all.   Relaxed and laid back atmosphere was great, could float around in our spa gowns and slippers. Lovely room, breakfast was amazing. Some spa hotels have a strict check in at 3pm and leave by 11am, Charlton House were happy to let us use the spa for as long as we liked both on day of arrival and departure. Teen treatment prices...FAB idea! - We liked the 'shabby chic' feel of the place. Even though the Mulberry fabrics and furnishings were a bit 'tired' in certain places - it did not seem to matter too much as it added to the charm of the place. Important details such as good quality linen/ bedding/ towels/cutlery etc did not disappoint.

  We loved everything about the grounds of the Castle. Wonderful woodland set back behind the outdoor seating area. We loved that we could spend the day in the glorious City of Bath and then relax in a sumptuous room in a Castle! The wonderful lady owner showed us around the castle and was very knowledgeable especially as they have just taken over o... wat mensen zeggen » wnership!She also recommended and booked us in to a wonderful pub/ restaurant for an evening meal,as her kitchen is being refurbished at the moment.Wo - Had a fantastic relaxed weekend at Bath Lodge Castle. Beautiful surroundings, the staff were lovely and welcoming and made you feel at home. The food was excellent from the breakfast to the evening menu, which was all beautifully presented and tasted even better! Spent cosy evenings in front of a lovely roaring log fire, I felt really chilled after and recharged after my stay. I would definitely recommend Bath lodge Castle and will be visiting it again hopefully in the near future.

  The staff at this hotel were fantastically polite, helpful and attentive - there was initially a problem with our room, and we were immediately upgraded by the superb reception manager into a suite that had access to a butler. The spa is excellent, the room comfortable.... If only other hotels were as good as this. - I loved the fact that we could... wat mensen zeggen » get up in the morning and head straight to the indoor pool, outdoor pool/spa and sauna/steam rooms. From the moment we arrived, service was impeccable, the room was lovely (modern, clean and large) and our stay was delightful. We came for a relaxing time and we sure had one.

  Very nice hotel, staff was excellent . food very good. It was a very short stay however hotel was extremely helpful to mark the special occasion as requested Thank you - The staff were extremely tentative and catered to our every needs, especially on the 6 course taster menu and providing wheat free alternatives.

  Everyone was so helpful. We didn't have nearly the problems weanticipated because the staff was so great. Thanks. - The staff were absolutely magic, very kind and helpful. This is so important when you are disabled.

  Very quiet. Slept well. I stayed before in Bath city centre hotels and the noise from the street made it hard to sleep full nights. But it was great at the university of Bath. It is a bit out of the city, but then again, it is quiet. Also has great facilities on-site: supermarket, cashpoints, post office desks, bars, etc. - Room was larger than e... wat mensen zeggen » xpected - despite having booked a single I got a small double bed which was lovely. Breakfast was also good and while the uni is out of town the bus runs every ten or twenty minutes from around 7.30 to midnight so getting around wasn't a problem. For the price it's a bargain.
