  The setting is fantastic - every Austin fan's dream. Close to everything but in a quiet location with great views. The hotel itself is beautiful, you walk through a discrete regency front door into a wonderful combination of history, functionality and good taste. It is larger than you'd expect set around an open courtyard with scented gardens, a... wat mensen zeggen » luxurious bath house and dower house containing the restaurant and bar. The bedrooms were spacious, extremely comfortable with all the touches you'd - The hotel is situated right in the middle of one of the most iconic Georgian buildings in the UK. The decor of the hotel is certainly in keeping with the grandeur of its location and the spa and restaurant were faultless. The service provided by the staff was impeccable - which is a first in my experience! All the staff were warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

  Excellent staff and a very clean hotel , the current owners have not been in this hotel for very long but are making it a very nice place to stay , they do everything they can to make your stay a pleasant one and nothing seams too much trouble , we did not use the restaurant as the bar meals were good value and the relaxed atmosphere of the bar ar... wat mensen zeggen » ea was to our personal liking but if we stay again we would try the restaurant , once the new owners have put there mark on the rest of the hotel it w - Hotel room and hotel in general very clean. Breakfast was good but a bit overpriced at £12. Car parking on site adequate. Room was cold on arrival and told heating was off, but electric heater delivered to room promptly and problem solved.

  Hotel wordt gerund door zeer aardig en attent Australisch echtpaar. kamers zijn top. Ontbijt is okee maar niet echt uitgebreid. De vieuw vanuit het hotel en de kamers is geweldig.Is erg landelijk gelegen. - We liked everything. Felt totally at home, so much so that we sat on the lounge floor in front of the 'real' fire each evening with the news pa... wat mensen zeggen » pers and a drink. How relaxing is that? The people running the hotel were so friendly and helpful. We would recommend it to everyone. The pool needs a special mentiion too, my family think we should get one just like it in our garden!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - This really is a wonderful place to stay. Only 8 rooms, but worth a 5 star hotel. Spacious room and bathroom, swimmingpool and jacuzzi ! The landlady is an excellent cook, the menu is limited but just try the minestrone and the penne: superb ! And not expensive at all.   The staff at this hotel were fantastically polite, helpful and attentive - there was initially a problem with our room, and we were immediately upgraded by the superb reception manager into a suite that had access to a butler. The spa is excellent, the room comfortable.... If only other hotels were as good as this. - I loved the fact that we could... wat mensen zeggen » get up in the morning and head straight to the indoor pool, outdoor pool/spa and sauna/steam rooms. From the moment we arrived, service was impeccable, the room was lovely (modern, clean and large) and our stay was delightful. We came for a relaxing time and we sure had one.
