My bedroom was spacious and the bed was really comfortable.
Location good - 5-7 mins walk to Princes Street and 10-15 mins walk to Royal Mile/castle.

Fabulous hotel. Staff were great, everybody was friendly and polite and went out of their way. Location is super, 2 minutes walk from haymarket station and 15 walk into Edinburgh city centre. Buses stopped outside the hotel to go to Princes street if you didn't fancy the walk. Food was good, we had breakfast and was lovely with lots to choose from. Didn't eat there otherwise but saw the food and it looked very nice. Rooms and beds clean and comfy. Great hotel.

I like the brand new design for simplicity & comfort with excellent staff at the welcoming front desk. Every one at the check in or out counter has positive and helpful attitude towards guests from all over the world. Here I would like to pay special respect & thank them from the bottom of my heart. IT was very clean and quiet, the front desk staff were very nice and very helpful to us regarding getting in to sight see in Edinburgh. They suggested that we take the bus due to parking, but we didn't and it was ok. We found parking without a problem. We would definitely recommend it if you are not interested in paying high rates in the actual city but want a nice, clean hotel and have a car to get around.

Stayed in the Premier inn on Princess street from the 2th to 23rd of Nov 2013. The Hotel is just a 5-7min walk from the waverly railway station and is directly opposite the famous Edinburgh Castle. Although we dint spend much time in the hotel and dint get a chance to dine in, but the Hotel was very nice, Clean and had all amenities one could ask for. A value for money hotel for people travelling to Scotland and are in a mood to Explore rather than stay in!

Excellent value. - I first booked at the Waterfront but found out that there was one closer to the city center when I reached Edinburgh and managed to change the booking. I was lucky they had rooms available and for the same price as well. Its called Express By Holiday Inn City Center.

This hotel was fantastic. The staff were amazing and could not do enough. The rooms were spotless with plenty of space and lovely bath with powerful over shower. The breakfast is excellent value for money and they have a 2 course evening meal deal for 12.75 which is a must try. Arrived into hotel after a long flight late at night with 2 young children. Nicole was so genuinely helpful and caring and got all our check-in smoothly done. All our tiredness & tension was alleviated and had a great nights sleep.

A bit pricy for a generic hotel without any character, but clear and
comfortable. Convenient for airlines connection..about a 8 pound cabride
(10 minutes) from airport. Restaurant generic, American style, very
busy. Nothing else around (in an industrial park) so no other eating
options. Check with attendant to make sure no groups are booked for
dinner, otherwise no dinner for you!
