  Het was een mooi,schoon hotel.Alles was goed - Girl on reception was exceptionally helpful and friendly. A really good first impression. The room was simple but stylish. - Proximity to the centre, ease of access and parking facilities. Very nice setting and out of the ordinary in a good way.

We stayed in a shared Mews cottage but there wasn't anyone in the other room so had the living room and kitchen all to ourselves. - I loved everything about eastwell manor, the staff were lovely.   Very polite and efficient staff, very cosy and inviting bar area where we went for a drink and then saw some people dining and decided it looked to good to miss out on even though we were at a party later with a buffet!! Meals were beautiful and a very good extensive menu, breakfast was all you could ask for too. Would definitely return here. All in all we had a lovely time and were very impressed. - The Camden Arms does the simple but important things well. The welcome and greeting were personal and friendly. Lunch was excellent as was breakfast. The staff were polite and extremely helpful. The room facilities were excellent and the standards of cleanliness and hygiene were exemplary. The ethos and practices at the Camden shame many of the large chain hotels.

  The hotel was gorgeous - very rustic, beautiful entrance, bars and restaurant. The rooms were very spacious and a great design. Great big windows, amazing bath and lots of storage space. The location was great as well, so close to the station and also parking if needed. - A very smart hotel with good ambience and facilities.   It is, by a long way, the loveliest place I've ever stayed; beats every five star hotel I've stayed in, in every country, and every US State. The staff, Sarah and Sarah, are so friendly and enthusiastic, the rooms are gorgeous (I had a deluxe room; enormous and beautiful room, with large bathroom - even nicer than the pictures, which is quite some... wat mensen zeggen » thing!), overlooking beautiful lawns and part of the Canterbury countryside that is so picturesque. Breakfast is extremely good; and the layout of the - This large B&B has several choices of accommodation, and we stayed in the cottage at the top of the yard set apart from the other buildings, which was very romantic. It had the most comfortable bed you can imagine, a roaring wood-burning stove, and a lovely view. Breakfast was one of the best I have had in an English B&B, everything fresh and local and of excellent quality.

  I thought the hotel's location on a roundabout may be a problem but in reality it was never an issue. Our room had secondary glazing and was very quiet at night. The hotel was friendly and I was very happy with our choice of location. They had their own parking but there were plenty of public car parks close at hand as well, although we never need... wat mensen zeggen » ed them. The rear of the hotel had a garden area separated from the road by a tall wall and was visually very impressive- it looked as old as the cast - The service in this hotel was the best we have ever experienced, and we travel alot! All members of staff were professional and helpful - attentive to our every need, even anticipating the needs of our group. The hotel was delightful, full of character and the location just 5 minutes walk from the town center was ideal. The breakfast was generously proportioned and there was ample choice.

  Pub was in tiny village of Elham, with a couple of shops (mostly closed when we arrived mid afternoon) and a church. Rooms were separate from the pub in a converted stable block with car parking and seating areas for each room just outside. Decent sized room with comfortable bed and small en suite. For anyone who was staying long - We had a very comfortable stay at The Rose and Crown in the beautiful village of Elham. The staff were charming, the room was lovely and spacious, and the evening meal delicious. Perfectly placed for the channel tunnel. As we left too early for breakfast,the staff kindly left a very generous breakfast tray in our room. We enjoyed our stay thank you.

  Great place to stay the evening prior to using Euro Tunnel. Ten minutes away from the Euro Tunnel terminal. Penny and Paul could not have been more helpful. When we arrived it was quite late and the restaurant was closing. We were able to order a light meal which was all we wanted (Pate, chutney, butter, lots of toast, and a couple of glasses ... wat mensen zeggen » of red wine). The room was very clean and well appointed and we wanted for nothing. Breakfast was early the next morning, again, our hosts were very - We stayed on route to Italy for our honeymoon to get an early Channel Tunnel crossing. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even gave us a map to the station. Best welcome I have ever received checking into a hotel or b&b. They went out of their way to make sure we had breakfast before catching an extremely early Channel Tunnel crossing (lovely fresh fruits, natural yogurt with muffins and cookies to take on the train).   Amazi ping staff, friendly yet professional and made us feel so welcome and provided us a super service! Breakfast was WOW! Fab cooked breakfast and amazing smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on a bagel - yum! Short walk to the beach and the loan of thei lovely beach hut full mod buckets and spades and comfy chairs to use. Was lovely at the end of a beach da - On arrival we were given tea and chocolate biscuits in the breakfast room by the friendly and gregarious host. The room was comfortable and well appointed with a beautiful and spacious bathroom. The breakfast on offer was excellent with fruit yoghurt and granola, warm brioche, superb scrambled eggs and smoked salmon plus toast and chunky marmalade. It kept us going all day! Parking in the road opposite was easy and free.
