  Just about the most faultless experience I have ever had at a hotel. This appears to be a fairly new building with rather uninspiring exterior brick architecture, but internally all fittings are of the highest standards as is the food and the service.The "lakeside" setting (actually an inland tidal tributary) is excellent although I would have pr... wat mensen zeggen » eferred a town location allowing us to walk elsewhere for our evening meal (the hotel food is first class but expensive) - Very relaxing stay at the Lakeside Park, all staff were very friendly, room was very comfortable and clean. Spa area also very clean and facilities good. Breakfast was excellent, something for everyone and plenty of it. The dining area was also spotless and the staff were very friendly, even early in the morning. Would definitely stay there again whilst visiting Isle of Wight
