  Bed was comfortable and we had a quiet area to stay in. Very nice modern pool with hot tub and sauna & steam room and family changing rooms. Modern hotel throughout. There are shops and Farnborough centre nearby (walking distance away) which is handy. - The atmosphere is modern and chilled while maintaining a cosy edge. The room (which was an upgrade) was lovely, wonderfully comfortable and beautifully appointed, all in all a wonderful hotel in which to relax and unwind.   Fantastic environment for a family trip to marwell zoo! We loved theattention to detail in the hotel and rooms even down to the animal printmugs and penguin biscuits! We will definately be back and were eventalking about making a trip later in the year! - The staff were very friendly and helpfull, the food was great and theroom service

  Service and staff were excellent.Early evening the restaurant was busy with families calling in after a visit to Peppa Pig Park but quietened down later..Dinner was very good ,with plenty of choice and freshly cooked .A good breakfast menu and unlimited coffee. Really liked it. Lots of parking, very central and close to main roads. Right next to paultons park if you are going there this could not be more ideal. I found the hotel quiet at night and just liked everything

  I dont think the location could be any better, its right outside the gates to winchester cathedral. our room was almost stately, with a beautiful (yet very unpractical) roll-top bath... the shower was huge and one of the best I've used, but the surround curtain and the bath design meant that the floor pretty soon got flooded. Breakfast was very re... wat mensen zeggen » fined, the full english was unrecognisable and wouldnt have looked out of place on masterchef, very tasty too. - The room was very spacious compared to many in Europe. It was very nicely appointed. It was close to the cathedral and the center of town. There were nice shops and sightseeing areas nearby. The staff was quite friendly and the pub had really good food and drinks. The stairwell and hallways were kind of like a tiny maze but we found that to be charming.

  The meal we had was fantastic! The meatiest, largest lamb shank with delicious gravy, creamy mashed potatoes, carrots and peas. Apple & rhubarb crumble with lashings of custard. MMMMMMMM! The hotel was directly across from the cruise liner we were visiting. We were able to make a free phone call for a taxi to the Art Gallery. Good location, close to the West Quay, Train Station and a Cinema is within 5 minutes walk. Guildhall is 10 -15 minutes walk away. Also have a MacDonalds and tfi Friday's close by. Rooms are basic, clean and ideal for a night or two can't fault.

  het is een geweldig leuk hotel, oorspronkelijk uit ca. 1500 (!) en zo ziet het er in eerste instantie ook uit van buiten: echt een sprookjesachtig decor in een heel mooie omgeving. Van binnen is alles keurig op orde, heel mooi de oude stijl daargelaten maar keurig netjes en schoon en gerenoveerd zodat het volledig voldoet aan de moderne, hoge, maat... wat mensen zeggen » staven. Ik ben echt heel enthousiast! - staff were friendly and helpful,the food in the restaurant was excellent,i had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel will definately stay there again - I will gladly recomend this hotel to my family and friends due to the courteous treatment we received during our short stay

  our stay started with what might be in other case a trouble - the room we wanted to stay was double booked,and as we wanted maximum comfort we were bit disappointed. But we were given a lovely room for one night,smaller but cheaper and free drinks, and next day we were transmitted to the room we wanted, and given nice discount. Both rooms were nic... wat mensen zeggen » e, clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. Food also very nice. - The friendly staff created a relaxed atmosphere straight away at check in. The room was clean, sunny with a great view of the garden and New Forest beyond. All staff had a great rapport with each other and the guests. The Hotet was preparing for a Wedding the following day and it was great fun to watch the preparations.

  The hotel was in a beautiful spot. The grounds were very well kept. The room was very modern, clean had lovely views. The breakfast was excellent.   Friendly staff, super meals, comfortable beds and lovely old building, yes it was slightly tired, worn carpets ect.., but if I wanted modern and new I would have booked another hotel. There was lashings of hot water, heating on full, crisp white linen on beds and duvets. Food was as good as any of the posh hotels we have stayed at. - the staff were... wat mensen zeggen » friendly and made our stay a happy one. the room were lovely, clean and the bed was the best bed I have ever slept in - if it had fitted in my suitcase I just might have taken it home!!!

  Het zwembad en relax faciliteiten. En omdat ik HHoners member ben kreeg een room upgrade - The location of the hotel was perfect. Just off the motorway, but set in lovely wooded gardens so therefore not much noise. In fact, no noise, with window closed! Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and something for everyone. Would def recommend this hotel... wat mensen zeggen » , and would use it again myself. - Pretty good actually, free swimming pool, gym facilities and steamroom.I had a very relax weekend in the hotel.
