  What is there not to like? The staff are simply brilliant - it's really nice to be recognised and addressed by name. We had a great room with a sea view. The bars are very good as are the restaurants and yes you really must try the Governors Indian cuisine at its best!! We could go on - best thing to do is to go and try this hidden gem in the Chan... wat mensen zeggen » nel Islands - Excellent facilities, great service and good food. A good selection of places to eat and drink and nice outdoor seating areas as well as a pool. Very much a luxury hotel which we could not fault, except for the location which was our choice.

  Located in a lovely valley with beautiful gardens. The catering options were second to none - breakfast exceptional; dinner and bar snacks excelent value. Could not fault the staff, who were friendly and helpful. The room and bed were very comfortable and well appointed. It was our 30th wedding anniversary and when returning from dinner found re... wat mensen zeggen » d roses on the bed - a lovely thoughtful touch! We would definately not stay anywhere else on Guernsey, the whole ambience of the hotel was so relaxin - The hotel is in a truly stunning setting, looking out over a wooded gully, to the sea. Service was good, as was the food at both restaurants - it's well worth a trip to the Rock Garden for a few cocktails, too! Possibly the best hotel we've stayed at in Guernsey. Potential bookers should note that this is NOT in St Peter Port town but a rural location in the parish.

  Staff were without exception polite, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful Rooms spacious and comfortable, Nespresso coffee nice touch Perfect setting and convenient for getting anywhere on the Island either by car or bus Hotel made first trip to Guernsey relaxing and very enjoyable - Great staff, the facilities were fantastic - lovely spa faciliti... wat mensen zeggen » es, good pool, golf course, beautiful grounds, good sized rooms. The hotel is very welcoming and has everything you could need, in a great location. We'll be back next time!!

  De kamer (suite) had een gigantisch mooi uitzicht. Het werd netjesschoon gehouden. - Location and breakfast. We didn't use the pool because of the weather, but it looks to be good place to laze around on a hot day. - The very friendly and helpful staff. The stay was for our honeymoon and the hotel made us most welcome

  Lovely hotel, plenty of ground floor rooms to make life easier for families and OAPs. Free wi-fi (not well advertised) Staff very friendly & nothing too much trouble - The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. I would definitely come back.
