  I arrived very late and left early but thought the staff very helpful and thoughtful. Room and bathroom excellent. - Very comfortable bed, luxury towels, lovely rural view from my window, and enjoyed my meals, (dinner and breakfast)

  We stayed in a deluxe double room which was spacious with a four poster bed and jacuzzi bath. We had a sea view room which was beautiful. If you are going to stay at this hotel we highly recommend you pay the extra £20 a night for a deluxe room. The breakfast was buffet style with plenty of cereals, cooked or continental style and again could not ... wat mensen zeggen » fault it. Have stayed in several hotels in Aberystwyth and will definitely be booking at the Marine Hotel next time we visit our son at the University - The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The sea view from the room was one of the best we have ever had. Throughout the hotel, it was clean and in good decorative order. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

  The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff were extremely helpful andfriendly. Easy access to the North beach and town. Will definately begoing to the hotel again next year. - Welcome and service provided by management and staff was excellent. Foodbrilliant. Location just right. Will go there again and recommend it.

  All staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect and having car parking facilities was very useful. Didn't use the restaurant but the breakfast was superb - Helpful, polite, happy staff and excellent food

  We found the hotel to be very welcoming, clean and our room was very spacious and comfortable. Although we did not use the pool it looked very clean with a nice balcony area with lovely views over the bay. Breakfast was ok served by very friendly staff. Location is very close to beach and all of the towns shops etc. Bar area was spacious with a go... wat mensen zeggen » od selection of drinks on offer. All in all a very enjoyable stay at the Merlewood which we will return to again. - Everything, stayed one night B&B, lovely place, very welcoming, other residents were very friendly, some reviews may comment that its dated but its very well looked after and cared for. Breakfast was ample and fresh and catered for all needs by a team of young but welcoming waitresses.

  The size and comfort of the hotel room was perfect for my one night stay but would also be great for a longer stay. The facilities in the hotel for example the resturant and bar area wee excellent - Ambience. Restaurant - good quality, well cooked and served by pleasant and helpful staff.

  A lovely Quiet location, comfortable bed, large rooms and superb food. Breakfast is highly recommended and the evening meals really are to Michelin standard - one of the best meals I have had for a very long time, - Lovely room with glorious views.   What a fantastic place! Crisp clean sheets and fresh towels, a refreshing change from other guest houses I have stayed at. The owner, Ed I think? Was very friendly, he even sat on the table next to us at breakfast one morning to give us local tips on where to go. The breakfast was top notch - my daughter liked the small cereal boxes. (I refuse to ... wat mensen zeggen » buy them at home!) I have already booked to go back in July 2014, but this time for a week - hopefully we will have good weather! There is a table ful - The facilities were spacious and clean and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were very thoughtful and put a children s programme on the TV for my young son and gave us some bread to feed the ducks on the mill pond which is a local beauty spot.
