Beecroft Lodge is excellently situated if you want to explore Torbay. It is in a quiet street and is scrupulously clean and very comfortable. The owners are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent with free range scrambled eggs, very good smoked salmon, fresh fruit and home-made marmalade. A real find.

I stayed here in March as I wanted to stay in this historic property. Wow what a great decision that was, the whole house is fabulous, full of character, spotlessly clean, stylish and beautifully appointed. Greeted wonderfully by the owners, a Devon home made cream tea on arrival in their beautiful sitting room in big leather chairs. The hotel is great and you feel right at home in a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast room was very pleasant and the breakfast was excellent. We couldn't have asked for more. We will be booking again.
