  We paticulary liked the style and feel regarding its elizabethan theme and its historic background. A real treat. - can't fault it. a fantastic hotel in a fantastic location. the attention to detail for is great, champagn on arrival, umbrella and welly boots for country walks, loads of facilities. the complimentary wine tasting is a great way to start your evening.

  Superb location with hotel tucked into the side of a green hill overlooking the sea - very peaceful and serene ! All rooms are located at ground level (brilliant if stairs are a problem) and our room was very comfortable and well equipped. Staff were very friendly and always on hand to help. The food both at breakfast and dinner was superb and the... wat mensen zeggen » service was very efficient and friendly. Overall a fantastic stay and my wife and I will certainly be going back again. - Staff were very professional, friendly & attentive providing an excellent service. Food was very good but perhaps a little expensive. Lovely location with spectacular views. New leisure facilities at the hotel (gym, sauna etc) will be great when finished. The pool is fantastic.

  If carlsberg made landladies then Rachael would probably be the best in the world....my stay was made by her and her sons welcome...it felt like a 2nd home...nothing was too much trouble and i was treated like a special friend. to be honest i have travelled world wide 5* etc but Rachaels hospitality outshines them all....i would recommend this pla... wat mensen zeggen » ce every day of the week...20 stars :-) - The room was lovely - the bed was so comfortable and people gorgeous - breakfast was amazing and would definately go back

  Prachtige ligging, keurig, schoon, rustig, comfortabel hotel - A wonderful visit (FlyBe Belfast to Exeter) to a most beautiful region.The hotel in all aspects was excellent, staff courteous, good manners,attentive and good at their jobs. The front wheelsof the car dug in too deep on occasions. A minor hiccup. - The staff were extremely good and nothing was too much trouble for them - due to staff shortages they were all multi-tasking but the good service was not lost. We particularly liked the head waiter/operations manager who always had a lovely smile and curteous manner for young and old alike. We loved our room that had a double aspect with far reaching views - totally delightful.

  we stayed in one of the lodges. very quiet, very comfortable and spacious 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Introduced my wife and young daughter to the driving range and now they are both hooked! Breakfast was excellent as was the clubhouse and swimming pool.   The welcome was superb, complimentary drinks mini bar and chocolate bar. I know it doesn't sound like much but those little touches really do make a stay more memorable. The staff were very helpful and the iPad they give you on check in was a superb addition. Location is great, The po - This is without a doubt one of the coolest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere is efficient but laid back . The hotel had everything we needed. The pool was fantastic and the fitness facilities although not extensive were adequate. The room was well equipped and a good size (we stayed in a superior room). The bed was really comfortable. We didn't have dinner in the restaurant but the breakfast was really tasty with good choices

  I liked the indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym. My wife was also impressed with the spa treatments. The staff were friendly and helpful. I liked the fact that we could book an apartment at the hotel, so we could prepare our own meals. I liked the fact that the apartment was quiet, spacious and well furnished, with good kitche... wat mensen zeggen » n facilities. I liked the fact that the hotel was close to the sea. - The reception was very welcoming and warm when we arrived. The food was good, we didn't have to wait long for it. The spa was wonderful and the fact that you could walk all around the complex without going outside, really appealed
