However the reception staff were marvellously kind and welcoming and gave us a complimentary tray of tea in the lounge. When it became clear that there would be a further delay, we were switched to another room immediately. I am full of praise for the reception staff.

Excellent facilities, very helpful staff, the room (19) was very comfortable with HD TV, the shower in the bathroom was vey powerful, the food was very good, unfortunaltly I can't comment on the breakfast because I had to leave before 7.30am.

This is a fabulous little place. We stayed here while on business and both the accomodation and food were brilliant. The staff were welcoming and extremely helpful and I am looking forward to staying there again when I am back in the area. I could not fault this little gem of a place.

This was a really well run and looked after inn. The very friendly and helpful staff made the stay enjoyable. This is well worth considering as a base from which to visit the surrounding area or as a stop off on your journey. It is close to the Granite way cycle trail and would be a good staging point on the Devon Coast to Coast
