  I booked a one week stay, B&B in a single room hoping for a relaxing holiday after a busy few months at work. On arrival check in was easy and very friendly. Then came the part I had dreaded. (As a single traveller, on occasions rooms elsewhere have been little more than a broom cupboard with a view of the bins...!). Breakfast had ever - The idea of four hotels and facilities accessible to every resident and not even having to get wet or cold (march 2013)brr! Staff very very helpful from Theresza on reception to Janette in housekeeping and all other members of the TLH team.Many Thanks again!!   That was quite strange experience to stay here. The building looks old but landmark of near the top of the hill over Woolacombe. The room is quite old and shabby as expected. However, the room is quite huge I reserved double bed and they provide a double room with a same size extra room with a single bed. Everything is old but feeling history. Qui... wat mensen zeggen » te interesting historical photos are on the wall of the lobby, with amazing entertainment room. - We had a wonderful relaxing stay at The Royal. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable when we asked for advice on places to visit. The room was clean and tidy with white sheets and the bed was very comfortable. The Hotel had a lot of character and the view from the balcony was amazing. We will be visiting this hotel again.

  I stated at the heritage sept 23rd for 3 nights.All the staff where very helpful & polite especially the breakfast waiter(he was as good as any tourist info center)!The views where fantastic.My room was spotless on arrival,as was the whole hotel.The pool was lovely to relax in.The bar is lively,but as a solo traveller it was just what I wanted... wat mensen zeggen » .They even put FREE hot food on the bar during one of the matches.Simple things,but they cared about their customers.If you prefer a lifeless quiet ba - The location was ideal for what we needed i.e. searching for a holiday apartment in the Torbay area. The room was good sized, comfortable and spotlessly clean. I think we had a recently refurbished shower room which was very smart. We had a magnificent view of Torbay across to Brixham. The room was surprisingly well insulated against noise from the outside. The hotel is within walking distance of the beach, harbour, parks, visitor attractions and restaurants.   After 3 days in hot London...the Merlin Court Hotel was a breath of fresh air...and what a find. Michael and his wife were very friendly and helpful...the hotel was clean comfortable and decorated beautifully. Large lounge downstairs allowed us to sit and chat in comfort and use the WIFI available. The breakfast was top notch!!   Good value for money, they held a car space for me as requested, very efficient with good info provided by Louise, Internet was reliable, lovely breakfast served in the dining room by a charming young man (didnt catch his name) and Joan who was a real character and worth going back just to catch up with her. - lou lou is a joker but she's kind an... wat mensen zeggen » d friendly and so was Gary and her mother good breakfast and the chips were really nice and crispy on thursday thanks to the chef not lou lou cos she does the breakfasts in the mornings with the help from Gary.
