  Hazel was the perfect hostess. Nothing was a trouble, great advice on local walks etc, including maps & notes ( prepared by hotel). Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order. Room lovely. We stayed in room 1, in main building, great aspect, opened on to balcony with access to garden. Lovely guest lounge & bar area. Superb stay in tranquil g... wat mensen zeggen » arden setting. And to top it off, the evening meals were outstanding, presentation & service amazing, new menu each night, with at least two fish - The service was superb and nothing was too much trouble. For example -asked for warm milk for coffee on first morning and this choice was remembered each succeeding morning. Local walks were helpfully printed for us. Both my wife and myself remarked that there was no cooking smell at mealtimes. The room was spotlessly maintained each day and used tea and coffee sachets replaced with same. We ate twice in the restaurant, the first time being for our 50th wedding anniversary and enjoyed beautiful

  Lovely countryside position over looking the small towns of Port Isaac and Tintagel as well as the Cornish coast line,, the staff were very friendly and most helpful,,a great place to stay if you want to explore the area from Bude to Newquay, also would be good as a location if you enjoy walking the hotel itself was very clean and on our recent s... wat mensen zeggen » tay the bathrooms had not long been refurbished,, the owners go out of their way to make you feel most welcome,, overall would recommend a stay here i - Staff were lovely and made sure we were comfortable. The place has just been done up and everything is nice and new and modern. Even though we had checked out at 11am, the staff let us come back to shower after surfing. This made a massive difference to our day and travel home. The breakfast was also nice. There was free WiFi and it had a couple of pool tables which kept us entertained whilst enjoying a pint at the end of the long day surfing.

  This Spa-hotel is brilliant! Even if you don't pay for the spa treatments (such as massage), you still get free use of jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and swimming pool!! Staff were amazing, from the reception to the catering team, they were all fantastic! I cannot fault this hotel, it was well organised with helpful friendly staff, excellent facilities in the room and throughout the hotel. The pool was warm, and clear, with perfect steam room, sauna and the bubbliest jacuzzi. Having complimentary bath robes and slippers was delightful, and there were plenty of teas, coffee and shampoos in our room and the shower was hot and powerful.   The reception that we were greeted with was very welcoming.We were shown to our room and everyhing was explained really well of how to use everything in the room .The room was beautifull,really decorated well and clean and comfortable with plenty of space. The meal was of good standard and the service was excellent and very friendly. We had a good... wat mensen zeggen » nites sleep and the room was nice and quiet. The cooked breakfast was delicious. - Everything from the start to finish the room was fantastic for business or even romantic purpose. Meals were very good and superbly priced, A hidden gem and superb staff,I almost felt like a local, the attention to detail was second to none, I will be back.Well done to all.

  Everything about this B&B was excellent. We were greeted by Angela and Lee who were very friendly and helpful. The Houndapitt is set amongst rolling hills and you get a sense of peacefulness as soon as you arrive. Although placed in a countryside setting this B&B is only 5 minutes drive from a beach. The room was excellent with what appear... wat mensen zeggen » ed to be a newly furbished en-suite and the beds were comfortable (we were in a twin room). Breakfast was good and nothing was too much trouble for A - Really cannot recommend this place enough, what a lovely friendly place. This has to be the best B & B I have ever stayed at. When we arrived we were greeted by the owners who were so accommodating. We had a peaceful nights sleep in a lovely comfortable bed. The breakfast was great and you could have anything you wanted. If anyone can find anything to grumble about this place then they really need to get a life.
