The meals were excellent. The staff was very hardworking. They also went the extra mile to give me a special request. The bus was across the street. It was easy to site see in other towns. Very good value!. The room was large, comfortable and very well decorated. The pub is very old and retains its old world atmosphere, woodsmoke fires etc. Food was very good both in pub and restaurant.

A couple of steeper-than-normal steps which take you by surprise at first ( I have arthritis so probably less of a problem for people who are fit! ). Step near room 14 is deep needs a rail. Access to the car park. nothing not to like. Church bell tolls all night but a certain charm of small village. Wi fi only available in public area. No TV in the bar. Nothing to complain about. you did not feel special. The staff are not that friendly. Bed was uncomfortable and squeaked with every movement.
