  We paid £85 for a double room and breakfast which seemed very reasonable and for this price we were more than happy to be offered an inland facing room. We were very pleased to be given a beautiful room with fabulous estuary views.   the setting was perfect. I had travelled a great distance to attend a job interview and my daughter accompanied me. The room was upgraded to superior double room by the managements decision. This was to our heightened surprise and gratefulness. Clean, stylish, spacious and so relaxing with a view of the medieval harbour. We even took adv - The location. That there was plenty to do within walking distance. There was no through traffic., which made it lovely and quiet. Plenty of places to stroll and have a quiet drink or eat. My favourite was the beach. The hotel was homely and just easy to come and go as you please., with food at the car until quite late.

  This was an excellent place to stay in Cornwall and really cheap for the standard of accommodation outside peak times. Very close to St Merryn and Padstow both of which have brilliant places to eat. The Villa has on site Londis convenient store which has everything you need. - Delightful, restful, helpful staff when required.   What is there not to like about this B & B? The room was large and light with a great view, the bed was very comfortable and breakfast was so very nice. My wife and I stayed there for the first time recently and we would both highly recommend this place to anyone who should ask. - Our stay was perfect.   The proprietors Hugo and Pippa are truly wonderful hosts, make you feel very special and Woodlands is quite the best hotel we have stayed in - not posh or snooty but really comfortable and welcoming. Guest are pampered with every facility you could wish for - even including a great selection of Teddys to take to bed! Can't fault and will definitely be returning soon. - Great hosts, very welcoming & helpful. Explained everything well. Breakfast superb, varied choices excellently prepared. Pippa was very helpful explaining the local restaurants in Padstow and the surrounding area. We had a great time and sad that it wasn't longer. We look forward to returning soon.

  Location was just excellant, we loved the old feel and all the querkiness of the old building. The facilities were good including the breakfast which was both buffet and cooked! - Great food and customer service. Excellent locale.
