  The Lakeside was well located in Oxford---within walking distance to most of the colleges, museum, etc., but outside of the hustle and bustle of Oxford proper, so was a bit more quiet. The proprietor, Gabriella is charming and helpful. The breakfast was very good, cooked to order, plentiful: something for all tastes. Should we return to Oxford, we will definitely stay at the Lakeside Guesthouse. - Very helpful owners who went out of their way to make our stay excellent. The room was very comfortable; breakfast was varied and generous. Really appreciated the central heating in the mornings and evenings and the exceptionally hot shower ! Close to city centre. We are in our 70sand we could walk there in 10 mins.

  We stayed at the Dial House for two nights. It was not planned trip and was a last minute booking. We could not have asked for more. The family were wonderful, really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. I will certainly be staying there again. If you need a base close to the John Radcliffe Hospital, this is ideal as it is just 2 minutes i... wat mensen zeggen » n a car.   I booked the hotel mainly because of its proximity to the venue for a college reunion dinner. A spacious free carpark in the centre of Oxford was an added bonus. The conversion from the old Barclays Bank has been carried out sympathetically and we had a spacious room for the night. Ne - The staff welcomed us back for our 1st wedding anniversary with their friendly, courteus mannerm and a bottle of champagne in the room- we first stayed at The Old Bank last year ,having just got married, and they made our trip extra special by upgrading our room and again giving us champagne. It's the little touches that make it so special! we will be back every anniversary!
