  Despite only staying overnight didnt really have a chance to see what was available but overall a very enjoyable stay at a reasonable cost. - Food was excellent,leisure facilities were excellent,the staff were very friendly and helpful and overall very relaxing hotel.

  Although Damons-Lincoln is undergoing renovation at the moment this did not impact on our stay at all. The staff made us fully aware of the situation on checking in. Although an un-renovated room it was still very comfortable and spacious with a very large comfortable bed.   The Gables is well placed for a visit to Lincoln, especially if like us you did not want to drive in and find parking. On our first day we used the train and the next day went by bus to town. it was very easy and convenient to travel thus. The guest house is extremely comfortable and Hilary had thought of everything for the convenience of the gues... wat mensen zeggen » ts. She struck the perfect balance of being pleasant and friendly without overwhelming. The breakfast was wonderful and the information booklet very h - The apartment was well designed and had everything you could possibly need for your stay it was spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, there was good parking, the owners were welcoming and friendly and happy to provide advise on the area, nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast menu was nothing short of 5* would have loved to stay longer if only to sample everything offered on their superb menu. Would not hesitate going back to the Gables Guest House.
