  Very different set up at this Hotel. There were no staff visible during our stay. You get a text or e-mail giving the number to a key safe by the entrance door, you let yourself in and your room key is left on the bar inside for you. Continental breakfast is available to help yourself to and you leave the payment for it in an Honesty envelope.Then... wat mensen zeggen » you just leave in the morning, locking the door behind you. The rooms were very clean and well equipped though the mattress in our room was very unco - A very unusual set up with no staff on the premises. Staff available by phone if required. Nice comfortable hotel with a "help yourself" kitchen for breakfast and snacks. This works very well and you can come and go as you please.

  Superb location with hotel tucked into the side of a green hill overlooking the sea - very peaceful and serene ! All rooms are located at ground level (brilliant if stairs are a problem) and our room was very comfortable and well equipped. Staff were very friendly and always on hand to help. The food both at breakfast and dinner was superb and the... wat mensen zeggen » service was very efficient and friendly. Overall a fantastic stay and my wife and I will certainly be going back again. - Staff were very professional, friendly & attentive providing an excellent service. Food was very good but perhaps a little expensive. Lovely location with spectacular views. New leisure facilities at the hotel (gym, sauna etc) will be great when finished. The pool is fantastic.

  Lovely location, away from the main roads, but accessible to many beaches nearby & a short drive from Salcombe. The house is in the middle of a working farm - not just a converted place that only operates as a guest house. Friendly helpful staff & lovely cooked breakfasts, with a wide range of options. - We had a lovely room,the Oak suite... wat mensen zeggen » . The bed was very comfortable, the breakfasts were excellent and the staff were delightful. The setting is idyllic and perfect as we love Hope Cove.
