  Everything! Everything was fabulous!! We were met from our taxi by the doorman who asked our surname, which he repeated into his lapel. We walked through the revolving doors and were met by a lovely lady who greeted us by name and showed us the hotel and finally to our room. The room was lovely, nothing spectacular but we did only book a regular r... wat mensen zeggen » oom. Everything we could need was in the room however. We went down to the American Bar and had several glasses of wine. We had bookings for Afternoon - Smooth easy quick check in Junior suite, Art Deco Style Fabulous, bathroom huge, walk in shower with rain head huge, Free standing bath plenty of room for two. Afternoon Tea, delicious, was my bithday, they played happy birthday and bought a cake with candle, you can have as much as you want...service amazing. Dinner at Kaspers, very busy, Seated at a table with everyone coming back and forth on either side, not good, asked to be moved to the bar, done with no fuss, lovely dinner and wine. Used

  Stayed 5 nights in the King Suite. 1 bedroom and 2 sofa-beds (in the living room) accommodated 4 of us (me, my wife & 2 adult children) well. Unit was well-fitted out (washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher, etc). Staff were very friendly and responsive when we called down with requests eg to ask for additional coffee sachets, help with operating... wat mensen zeggen » the dryer). Air-condition worked well, which was greatly appreciated in sizzling July ! Bathroom floor was heated which was great when stepping out o - Everything in the studio looked/felt new, from the linen to the kitchen ware and the studio was very comfortable; the kitchenette had all I felt necessary and there were water, sachets of intant coffee, various teas, instant chocolate and delicious biscuits which were replenished everyday. The location is central and very near to the tube and Earl's Court Road but at the same time in a very calm neighbourhood, around a big garden. The Internet connection worked fine.   We loved the size of the rooms and the fact that it was a suite set up, as this made it easy for our young son to go to bed before us. The free water, starbucks coffee and lovely toiletries were an added bonus. Choice of pillows alos excellent and superb beds for comfort. It has a lovely relaxing and welcoming feeling to the hotel. The staff are very well trained and always pleasent and helpful.   When I realized that London hotel rooms are very, very small, I found the 9 Hertford Street apartment hotel. It's location is excellent: just off Piccadilly st., very close to Green Park underground station that brings you anywhere (including to and from Heathrow airport with the Piccadilly line) , a 25 minutes walk to Oxford st. The bedroom has a large bed and plenty of storage space, the ki - Great location close to everything the city has to offer yet nestled in a nice village setting. Friendly staff who welcome feedback. Very comfortable hotel, good kitchen, comfortable beds, cabs at your front door and staff who still carry bags to your room and hail you a cab. Will definitely stay again and recommend to others.
