  Upon arrival, it was clear to see the hotel was clean and fairly luxurious (Especially for a 'Holiday Inn'!). The staff were friendly and helpful, with the room cleaned regularly, with free water and chocolate each day (at least I think they were free!). I would happily recommend the hotel to all types of travellers. Couples/group of friends etc. ... wat mensen zeggen » The view of London from the room was great. Especially at night; looking over the Olympic park, docklands and the o2. - Large rooms, excellent beds, coffee and tea facilities in room and good bathroom. Quality of breakfast and room service also excellent, and on top of it all, slam opposite Europe's largest shopping centre, with almost every central London shop available. Ideal location for both shopping as well as a quick underground trip (20 minutes by central line) to the centre of London and its attractions. ALso very convenient to get to City Airport and Southend Airport.

With all the new mod-cons including buttons to alert reception you do not wish to be disturbed and a tv that controls the lighting/air con/internet, the decor is tastefully done and the bed extremely comfortable!
