  From my first moment in the hotel the staff were very friendly and helpful. They asked what the occasion was and I told them it was my husbands birthday.   This hotel is great! So lovely and clean, the rooms are massive & the bed is rather comfy!! Me & my boyfriend stayed in the lorne hotel 16th February after the x factor tour at the secc. We met a couple and brought them back for a few drinks at the cocktail bar, I may add the strawberry & raspberry daiquiris are amazing !!! Me & my boyfriend will most definitely be v - Very good modern hotel with all the normal features you would expect. Good room although the walk from the lift to my room through 3 or 4 fire doors and with a case isn't easy and there is a delay for the lights in each section to come on which could be an issue to nervous travellers. Cracking Indian resteraunt within the hotel which I would recommend. Nice bar area, good choice for business or pleasure, but it is about a mile or 2 from the city centre, however, pleanty of cabs and £3.50 fare t

  Nice breakfast, good service and a pretty Victorian townhouse. Very near underground station Kelvinbridge on a quiet street. Situated near Kelvingrove Art Gallery, which is easily reached on foot through Kelvingrove park, a lovely 10 minute stroll. Supermarket is also nearby. Facilities in the room were fine (hair dryer, water boiler, coffee &... wat mensen zeggen » ; tea). Bathroom was next door. - My room was spacious and pretty. The bed was comfortable but I helped myself to a second duvet a) because I'm old and chilly. b)because it was very cold weather c) because I didn't know how to turn on the radiator! (Pathetic) d) I really appreciated having two comfortable armchairs for when my granddaughter came to spend a morning with me.
