  I was traveling with my 18 year old daughter, we both felt totally secure and comfortable at Ty Rosa. In addition we liked: the friendly atmosphere, well appointed and clean rooms, excellent breakfast, helpful advice and local information provided by the owners, everything in fact.   I liked the fact that it was located so close to the city that I couldeasily walk to major tourist attractions. I also appreciated the use ofthe free car park. - The Mercure Lodge Hotel, Cardiff is a great hotel based about 5 mins from the centre - An excellent base for a weekend in Cardiff. Would reccomend :o)

  Everything, for the price it was one of the best hotels ive stayed in, staff were lovely and extreamely helpful. Rooms were clean and the bed was so comfy. Wet room was fine didnt have any problems with drainage etc, which I understand some people have had in the past. - The staff were very helpful and welcoming.   We have stayed here several times as it so convenient to walk into Cardiff City Centre without having to use the car. The location is great and having the Restaurant on site is a bonus.   We liked the picturesque central location, the general ambience of an older style boarding house and the friendly, more personable approach of the staff, in comparison to that which is encountered in chain motels and the like. The centre of Cardiff is a short 10 minute walk through a lovely leafy suburb and park. We were absolutely charmed with the accommodations. The hostesses were very helpful, personable, welcoming when we got in, accommodating when we had to solve travel conundrums. The wifi was easy to use and completely reliable! The neighborhood was completely delightful, and the park walkway a block away was a lovely way to get to the castle and transportation.
