  Ligging, vlak bij ons kantoor in Wales! - Free upgrade to a suite because we were kept waiting for 20 minutes at reception was very generous. Free internet access in the room was useful, the room was immaculate and the bar restaurant downstairs was good. The service was friendly and welcoming too. - This hotel is modern, clean and spacious.   I liked the fact that it was located so close to the city that I couldeasily walk to major tourist attractions. I also appreciated the use ofthe free car park. - The Mercure Lodge Hotel, Cardiff is a great hotel based about 5 mins from the centre - An excellent base for a weekend in Cardiff. Would reccomend :o)

  We have stayed here several times as it so convenient to walk into Cardiff City Centre without having to use the car. The location is great and having the Restaurant on site is a bonus. The room was clean and comfortable and staff were great and listened to my complaint about being woken early by the noise made by a "Party" returning at 4.30am !! ... wat mensen zeggen » Refund offered and accepted. - It was clean & worth the money,staff friendly and helpful,you go to the Brewers Fayre across the way for breakfast plenty of choice(about 2 seconds)15minutes walk into the city centre there is a bus.There is free parking Was visiting our son who lives there..

  Modern hotel. Niet grote, doch prima ingerichte kamers. Prima service en goede bedden. Goed bereikbaar - De hotel kamer en service was in zijn geheel behoorlijk goed, maar de badkamer stonk. Ik heb er verder niks van gezegd, maar was niet zo prettig. De prijs en locatie is ook prima.

  Stayed for one night. From booking in to leaving each one of the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable and there was extra pillows if you needed them . The bath was very comforable and quick filling. We went to the Thyme restaurant in the hotel. There were a lot of people in the hotel (like us... wat mensen zeggen » )l that were going to see Mrs Browns boys, but all the bar and restaurant gave excellent service ensuring that each and every hotel guest had everythi - We loved our stay here. The staff were very friendly, and helpful. The breakfast choices were excellent, with some healthy options. We were allocated a massive double room, (which was also designed to accommodate any disabled guests with wheelchairs) The bathroom was also very spacious indeed - and was a wet room style, with a very efficient shower. The hotel is very conveniently located for the major shopping precincts.

  The Kitchen was very good with all items needed to cook and prepare , we were also given a very early breakfast when we had an early morning train which was excellent as all cafés where closed at 5am and the Television Room was very good all three of us would like to stay again soon - It's a hostal not a hotel, so you expect it to be basic - whic... wat mensen zeggen » h it was. But, it was clean, friendly and quiet. Great value and located just out of the city centre. Also, a nice surprise to be able to help yourself to toast, cereals and coffee for breakfast. - i had a great stay here, the hostel and rooms were clean and the staff were helpful and friendly, what more can you ask for from a hostel. the location is great, just a few mins walk from the city centre and the free breakfast in the morning was a nice touch
