  We enjoyed our stay very much at Hotel Makedonia! Room was very clean & nicely decorated.. Just like the photos on their website. We greatly appreciated the fruit basket, bottled water & teas/kettle that were provided in our room. The shower had excellent water pressure & towels were nice & fluffy. The first room we got was leaning a bit and sensitive as we are we asked for another room and the staff helped us with everything and we got a superb room right away instead :) Big and spacy rooms with wooden floors instead of a carpet! The breakfast was excellent and pretty much everything you want they had and more as well. Nice area close to supermarkets and very close to the underground station. Around 3-5 min walk.   The staff were very friendly & welcoming. It was extremely clean with clean towels every day & plenty of tea/coffee/milk provided.   I booked late, so instead of finding a hotel within my budget I found this studio apartment, and it was wonderful. Before booking we noticed we had to pick the keys up from elsewhere, and it was no trouble at all and easy to find. The lady was friendly and organised free transport to our apartment. It was close to Angel tube sta - The apartment was clean and warm, considering that it was one of the coldest weekends of the year. The bed was comfortable and the bed linen was fresh and crisp! The location is great as it is next to Angel Tube station and is encompassed by great bars and restaurants, which are located in the nearby Inslington. Definitely, will stay again!

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night only in a Family Apartment which we can recommend to travellers like us. Everything a family with children would need when travelling was present at this apartment. There was enough space, the kitchen was of a good size, very clean and all possible utensils. The staff was polite and understanding. Bathroom was spotlessly clean. We liked there and will come back when we visit London again.

We are both straight and hadn't realised this was a gay friendly venue, but that made our evening all the more interesting. The drag act was excellent haven't laughed that much in years.
