  The apartment was very comfortable, quiet and well located near the train station and the city center. The neighborhood appeared friendly and safe. There are many shops just a short walk away. It was also easily accessible, even for my dad who has reduced mobility. The apartment is equipped well enough for cooking a meal.   The location is good (ten minutes walking to the station and Princes Street), the room is spacious and clean, the reception open 24/7. Free WiFi is available in public areas and a simple but nice breakfast is included in the room rate. The staff is friendly, it's within easy walking distance of the tourist area and Waverly station, and the breakfast is outstanding! I had a top-floor room this time, which actually had a pretty good view. I highly recommend this hotel.

  The service from the female host was perfect! The host was really happy every so it brought us really good mood! The breakfast was good and rich! Tasty as well! The room was clean! The garden view from window was brilliant. The place is great as well. It is near Carlton hill, 15min walking distance to royal mile and u can climb the Carlton hill ev... wat mensen zeggen » ery day coz it is really closed! Really good experience in this hotel! Strongly recommend! - Paul and Deborah were excellent hosts - very friendly and informative. The room was clean and comfortable, and housekeeping was excellent. Room including breakfast was a real bonus. The hotel is in a quiet area but still only a short walk to city centre. I have already recommended staying at Abbey Hotel to my work colleagues.
