  The location is good (ten minutes walking to the station and Princes Street), the room is spacious and clean, the reception open 24/7. Free WiFi is available in public areas and a simple but nice breakfast is included in the room rate. The staff is friendly, it's within easy walking distance of the tourist area and Waverly station, and the breakfast is outstanding! I had a top-floor room this time, which actually had a pretty good view. I highly recommend this hotel.

  The service from the female host was perfect! The host was really happy every so it brought us really good mood! The breakfast was good and rich! Tasty as well! The room was clean! The garden view from window was brilliant. The place is great as well. Strongly recommend! - Paul and Deborah were excellent hosts - very friendly and informative. The room was clean and comfortable, and housekeeping was excellent. Room including breakfast was a real bonus. The hotel is in a quiet area but still only a short walk to city centre. I have already recommended staying at Abbey Hotel to my work colleagues.

  Heather was extremely nice and welcoming during our stay and we had a wonderful time at The Hedges. Breakfast is excellent and more than readies you for a full day of walking around the city. Attention is paid to every detail, and I would definitely come back there!

  Very clean, very smart and I would thoroughly recommend. I travelled with my two boys (11 and 12) for the Open at Muirfield and was great for access to Edinburgh Waverley whilst being right next to Calton Hill and 15 mins from Arthur's Seat (bottom not top) for the great views of Edinburgh. - The apartment was an excellent choice for our stay in ... wat mensen zeggen » Edinburgh. It was beautifully decorated as well as comfortable and very well located near London Rd & Leith Walk. We will stay there again on a return trip and recommend it highly.
