  This is the second time in a month that myself and girlfriend have spent the weekend at the Alona. As usual on arrival we are greated with cheeery and very smart recepionist and a glass of wine of course. The checkin was over in minute and our room again was immaculate. We had dinner both nights in the restaraunt and the food was lovely and servic... wat mensen zeggen » e was first class. The breakfast in the morning is freshly cooked and delicious as well. We will be be going back soon as we simply adore staying ther - After i had booked our room,i received a phone call from Gary the receptionist,who enquierd if we were part of the Wedding party that they were haveing,when we said we were not,we were givein an upgrade & room on the front of the hotel,so as not to be inconvenienced by the party,which my wife & i thot was a fine example of a hotel looking after all of their guests,& a welcome drink was a nice touch,breakfast was exllent & the evening meal was quite superb.

  quick and effortless time it took to check in being told about the amenities at the hotel the location of the hotel was ideal for us to travel around Scotland for the four days that we stayed - Super room - better than we have normally had in the past.

  Extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. Our room wasn't ready on arrival but the staff took our bags, jackets etc. We had a great lunch and our room cards were brought to us in the restaurant and our bags etc were already in the room. I would call that great service. Loved the decor in the hotel and also our room.The room was stylish, larg... wat mensen zeggen » e and comfortable. Had excellent breakfast in the morning. The hotel was very easy to find and lots of parking space. - I love how the dakota looks it is a beautiful hotel especially the lounge reception and dining area the staff are always lovely and helpful especially tge receptionist that was on when i arrived at the hotel i think it is really good for business occassions.
