  We selected Brooks on the basis of their location in the heart of Bristol and value for money. Staff were unfailingly professional and friendly, prepared to go the extra yard in service. The décor is clean and sharp, relatively minimalist but still comfortable. Bedroom was small which suited a short stay but may prove too petite for a longer stay ... wat mensen zeggen » with no wardrobe facility. A real positive is the free wifi throughout the premises and bedrooms. Bathroom is again a tight fit though adequate with l - My wife was taken suddenly ill during the stay and was admitted to hospital. The sympathy, support and general kindness of the staff at the Guesthouse was quite amazing, making our situation so much easier and we shall always feel grateful for this. Apart from that, the room was very comfortable, the whole place was clean and well kept and the food was excellent. The welcome which we had even before our problems began was second to none and I would certainly stay there again.

  The location, and that I reserved a river view room on line and actually received one! The buffet breakfast was excellent. - Very spacious room, extra large double bed which was extremely comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean.

WHEN IM THERE THEY - Excellent buffet at breakfast - never seen curried chickpeas and basmati on a breakfast menu before, very very nice indeed. The cook was standing near the buffet and we had an excellent chat about vegetarian foods. The hotel is an excellent hotel overall, and the room was spectacular. The staff were super professional and friendly, and I greatly enjoyed it. The bar and lounge area were a great place to meet colleagues or to just sit and read quietly.

  ligging - The room was fantastic - we may have been the first to stay in it, it certainly felt like that. High quality finish, very comfortable and luxurious. Especially the blackout (light and sound) curtains - we didn't stir until 11.30 Sunday morning! I recommend a wake up call so that you don't miss breakfast!   Friendly &helpful staff,with great facilities to make the stay special. We really enjoyed the Pool and Sauna.It was so relaxing. Bristol is a Vibrant City with a busy nightlife. You can walk around the City easily -theres so much to see -great Architecture,Museums and not forgetting Shopping. The Hotel's city centre location was ideal for our visit. - Fantastic hotel, one of the best I've stayed in. Staff couldn't have been more attentive and professional - little touches helped like giving my son a kiddie's pack on arrival and a voucher for room service milk and cookies. Breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice and again great service and staff were really knowledgeable about the area. Pool and spa were immaculate and really nice, room was good size, well furnished, everything worked. It was a super hotel.
