  The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for you, especially the manager who made himself known and ensured we had everything that we needed. The room was large, with a lovely comfy bed - just what we needed after a hard day canoeing! The best thing about our stay though was the steak. We had dinner in the restaurant in the evening, and wer... wat mensen zeggen » e delighted with the food we had. The steak were top notch and excellent chips to go with, all at a fair price. Breakfast cooked in the morning by Va - Warm. spacious room with quality linen on comfortable bed. Good toiletries plus bath robes provided - a bonus at price paid. Good choice of tasty food for dining with generous portions.Equally good at breakfast. Lovely staff - nothing too much trouble. Easy reach of local attractions.

  The whole stay was an event. Checking in late meant having to enter the guest house by codes through gates made it very different. The room was well equipped and not what I expected bearing in mind the age of the property. Shower was hot and powerful after walking from the car park in the rain this was very welcome.
