The seat on the window(sill) was a particular plus. Breakfast was good - liked the idea of cooked breakfast to order - dining area so light and welcoming. Breakfast was really good with a lot of selection of choices and meals in evening and were very reasonable in price as were bar drinks in prices as well.   I needed a b & b for a family celebration. I was traveling with my mother who is 91. I requested suitable accommodation for her and we had a single room on the ground floor with a handicapped bathroom. There were doors into the garden and we were close to the dining room for an excellent breakfast. The house has been tastefully renovated keeping the char - Impeccably clean, tasteful, unfussy and well run, with every consideration given to providing for the comfort of guests; we saw that business people, families, a young couple, as well as us oldies were equally happy. Close to town for shops and cultural visits, but quiet location just a short drive from the coast.

  I was made very welcome whilst checking in, indeed I was a few hours early. The room although the smallest was more than sufficient for my 1 night stay. The bed linen was excellent and the room was spotlessly clean. Could not fault the facilities or house at all. Very enjoyable stay with a superb breakfast, sourced from quality ingredients. Would definitely stay again.

  Excellent place to stay and good value. Really friendly staff and great breakfast. Don't expect hotel like service as it is more like help yourself. Really unobtrusive, if you need anything help is available, if you don't, then just get on with it and enjoy your stay! Ability to go out for food or make your own, very comfortable environment and relaxing rather than a bland hotel chain. Large selection of foods available at breakfast. - Everything was absolutely superb, very welcoming after a long journey to be able to relax in clean and very high spec environment. There was nothing that hadn't been thought of. The buffet breakfast and the provisions made available on arrival was another wonderful benefit. I would recommend it to my family, friends and associates.
