  The Fox has the exterior charm of a Cotswold country pub in a quiet hamlet with the efficiency and comfort of a city hotel. We had a warm welcome and escorted to our room without waiting despite it being a busy Saturday evening. The four rooms are adjacent to the Fox in a converted stable/barn. It wasn't large but well designed, clean, warm and... wat mensen zeggen » comfortable. Basket of toileteries, plenty of tea, coffee and sugar and what a joy real coffee! Didn't need my travel cafetiere. Plugs were at shou - The staff were really nice and helpful. And that was just the start of it. Room itself was lovely. Gave you all you needed. Room was very clean, bathroom was lush walkin shower. Breakfast was served in basket to your door. With offers of a discount full breakie around corner if you prefered. Meal in the fox night before was really good home made. Tasted lovely. I'd go again for the food alone.
