Self Contained Hotel Room's accros the road from Albert Arms in a quiet cul-de-sac,nice room value for the price, have stayed on a number of occasions and will again.
Food in Albert Arms is just excellent with a chef who has pride in his cooking.
You will probably meet him there as he does occasionaly come out and check with patrons.
I would recommend it for a short stay for the races in Sandown which I have done on a number of occasions. alle beoordelingen »
Staff were very friendly good choice of beers in the bar and probably the best full English breakfast I have had anywhere.I was going to Sandown races and its ideally located for the racecourse.
Great food in the pub restaurant, and a good atmosphere in the bar. Rooms very comfortable and had all amenities needed for our stay. Perfect location for Sandown Park where we were working.
Service was great, so was the breakfast and the room was clean and all you would need for a business trip or a night at the races.
Welcoming friendly staff, very clean well appointed rooms. With excellent food available in the associated pub. Would use again.
Staff were relaxed and helpful. Room was small but very nice considering price. Easy check in and out. Breakfast was great.

Location, Staff,.
Everything!.
The location - The staff were good when we got hold of them. The room
and linen was clean.
Convenient for Esher town
Fridge
Separate shower.
Good location, staff business like but pleasant.
Convenience for Esher town centre.
location.
nothing.
The room was really hot meaning that I had to have the street level windows open all night (at least they provide a fan).
No close by stations, not suited for getting into London.
Noise from other guests who had an early start on Sunday morning.
We were in Room 1 and the heat was overpowering to the extent that my husband felt so ill he could not accompany me to breakfast. I would point out that the weather was cool outside and therefore there was no reason for the unbearable heat.
Window did not lock
Mini fridge not switched on so everything warm.
n/a.
Stuffy hot room - not enough ventilation and too much aircraft noise with the windows open. Also, just a bit pricey.
It's a bit tired and could do with a spruce up.
Old sash windows let a bit of noise in but situated on a quiet street so not too much of an issue.
Water pressure was terrible in our room. The people above us sounded like they were about to come through the floorboards-would on;y stay again if we had a top room as it kept us awake at night.
The shower in my room was growing a reasonable amount of mold both in the grouting and on the shower head.
Heated towel rail in bathroom made room even hotter in hot weather. Apparently no way to turn it off? I did ask after first night but nothing changed.
Suggest some ventilation needed to avoid noise from open windows to street.
rooms not actually in the pub but a separate building nearby.
Room was quite warm with no opening window or thermostat.
Room was a little warm. Would be great to have tea and coffee making facilities.
Our booking confirmation from letsbookhotel.com described our room as "air-conditioned." When we arrived at the hotel we were told that there are no air-conditioned rooms at the hotel. On the hottest day of the year this was a great disappointment. Clearly it is wrong to use a description which does not apply. If the room had been air-conditioned I would have rated the hotel as Excellent for Comfort, Facilities and Value for Money.
The Wi-Fi was difficult to get, in the annex away from the main
building. We could not get hold of reception from our room which was
over the road. A bedside light was out but we replaced the bulb. Just
adequate and basic room.
Small room
Very hot
No mirror at dressing table.
Room furnishings rather tired and no air-con.
The room was incredibly hot and stifling. There was no air conditioning
despite the advert saying it did. Any sort of ventilation would have
been good. The windows open up but, on the ground floor, are right on
the pavement with people walking passed it afforded no privacy.
Carpet in room was dirty, very small room,no comfortable chairs.desk area was the depth of approximately 12 inches, very difficult to work from. The member of stafff who showed me to the room had filthy shoes and his staff uniform was in desreate need of dry cleaning, will never go back.
