I had enquired about an extra night and having received a cancellation she got in touch, although two nights was still not long enough! The room was excellent - almost like home.   Friendly staff, super meals, comfortable beds and lovely old building, yes it was slightly tired, worn carpets ect.., but if I wanted modern and new I would have booked another hotel. There was lashings of hot water, heating on full, crisp white linen on beds and duvets.
