  It is a suite hotel less than a ten minute walk from the main Railway Station and ten seconds off the Royal Mile. Our suite was actually a fully equipped apartment with dishwasher, microwave kitchen sink refrigerator and plenty of kitchen utensils.   The hotel building was very impressive, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was superb and the food was excellent. Ideally placed for us, as we were attending the March & Rally for Scottish Independence on Calton Hill that weekend. We only stayed two nights and didn't have time to use the spa/pool but it looked really nice. The room was spacious bright and colourful with lots of lovely added extras including free movies,mini bar drinks, robes and slippers.   Very suprised and impressed with this hotel, well presented and staff were polite and helpful. Room was very clean and quiet at the back of the building. Booked into restaurant for evening meal, everybodys food was excellent and again very friendly staff.
