Fabulous hotel. Staff were great, everybody was friendly and polite and went out of their way. Location is super, 2 minutes walk from haymarket station and 15 walk into Edinburgh city centre. Buses stopped outside the hotel to go to Princes street if you didn't fancy the walk. Food was good, we had breakfast and was lovely with lots to choose from. Didn't eat there otherwise but saw the food and it looked very nice. Rooms and beds clean and comfy. Great hotel.

Ga daar zeker een kijkje nemen als je in dit hotel verblijft. Ongeveer 10 minuten lopen vanaf het hotel. De dame aan de receptie gaf ons een plattegrond mee met daarop de kortste route naar zee. -

The price was nice and the sleep was good: these are main criteria for a good stay. The hotel itself is ugly, massive, chain-like, but people are okay, walking distance to town attractive, there is a park and a river road, so, I recommend this place!

First of all, the location was extraordinary. The sea (Firth of Forth) is just behind the hotel and you wake up, seeing big steamships and small fisher boats on the water.

This was our first stay at a Premier Inn. The hotel is clean, the rooms
were spacious. The staff was very helpful. The views of the water were
beautiful and our family enjoyed walking along the quay. The breakfast
served at the restaurant next door was perfectly fine. We ate at the
nearby Prezzo for dinner. Although we had a car, we caught the bus at
the conveniently located stop directly across from the hotel. Definitely
the right decision given the traffic and apparent lack of parking. This

Very suprised and impressed with this hotel, well presented and staff were polite and helpful. Room was very clean and quiet at the back of the building. Booked into restaurant for evening meal, everybodys food was excellent and again very friendly staff. Booked purely for location for Edinburgh marathon. -

We travelled by train as it was much cheaper than staying in the centre of Edinburgh. With trains every 30 minutes until late at night the 10 minutes on the train was well worth it with the Hotel just accross the main road from Newcraighall station. The breakfast was very tasty with lots of choice. Everything was served to your table which was nice but I actually prefer a buffet where you can choose what you want as you eat. I have never seen a bathroom as nice. My husband loved the shower. The
staff were really nice, friendly and very helpful and the butlers well
