  I asked for an early check-in: I got it. We needed assistance at 1am: we got it, no qualms whatsoever. Faultless. It did the job- somewhere cheap n local for the family to crash down after a wedding do.   The staff were all efficient and very friendly. Check in, bar service, the waitress at dinner and the handling of breakfast arrangements were all excellent. The room was large and nicely furnished and the bathroom was a good size. We really enjoyed the food - the steak at dinner was great and the food and wine were ggod value for money. Breakfast... wat mensen zeggen » was really good too, plenty of choice and all of it tasty. - Staff were absolutely lovely. Adrian the owner even gave us a lift to the ashes cricket game that morning cause he was going that way... Such a lovely fellow :-) The rooms were very clean and had lovely decor (basic but stylish). Food size also. Location great- only short walk to train station and to Durham city :-)

  Very much enjoyed our stay. Staff were very helpful. Room decor was good and it was very clean. Restaurant had very pleasant ambience - the meal was excellent and very good value. Hotel was very quiet and in pleasant surroundings but a short walk from city centre/cathedral etc. Would recommend. - Very nice hotel, good value for money, Good food... wat mensen zeggen » and very pleasant and helpful staff. Good location, without having a car everything was very accessible. The local bus service was good especially as we were able to use our bus passes.

  Just a five minute walk from the centre of the city and another five minutes or so to the Durham cathedral church. This modern and comfortable establishment was located fairly close to the train station, but it is best to take a taxi since walking would be rather complicated because of a necessary river crossing. We had already stayed in excellent... wat mensen zeggen » b and B's throughout northern England and so this modern, well-kept hotel with air conditioned rooms was just what we were looking for. - The staff were absolutely lovely, so genuinely caring and there to help with a smile. Not that we needed any help or extra service but you felt that nothing would be too much or a problem, the service really was impeccable. The hotel was immaculate. Location couldn't be better for all the sights of Durham. Breakfast is huge and high quality. The rooms are simple but as you need, Premier Inn really have got the balance of one's needs down to a T. Excellent.

  This is the second time I have stayed at this premier inn. The staff were very welcoming, courteous and helpful. The rooms are cleaned to a very high standard. It appeared to us that the staff were all local and had a genuine pride in the area and their hotel - I hope that they get this feedback. I have just stayed in a £250 per night hotel and it... wat mensen zeggen » was superficially clean but did not compare to the cleanliness of the rooms in the premier inn durham. - This was the first time we stayed at a Premier Inn. It was clean and friendly, staff friendly, wifi perfect, nice restaurant next door for dinner and breakfast. I will definitely stay at this chain again as it seems to be a good value with no hassle.
