  Room was generally good, although needed a little freshening up in terms of decor (a little peeling wallpaper, a distinctly sloping floor in the bathroom, and a bare wire to the towel heater detracted from the overall feel of it). Breakfast was excellent. Nice (short) walk from the gardens along the stream too. Despite there being a wedding party ... wat mensen zeggen » on, we never heard a sound from them (we had been concerned about the noise from the wedding after previous (bad) experiences in other hotels, but nee - It was my daughter's birthday and the hotel provided a birthday message with chocolates in the room which was a lovely touch. The room was lovely - two double beds overlooking the golf course. Staff were very friendly. Lovely fresh omelettes made at breakfast - cooked while you waited - which was a lovely touch.
