freedom to come and go as you please . good continental breakfast but would have liked a choice of a full English as well to choose from. will stay again sometime. nice central location - Place looked a bit tatty but clean. Bed comfy, tv good, breakfast continental but not bad. Location, clean facilities, friendly lady. Location and breakfast. Owner was friendly. The continental breakfast was reasonably good. It is cheap.

Good for Town centre and public transport. location. leaving and going home. Very little. family room needs an update, window needs repair, mattress too firm, but room warm and clean. Very few parking spaces on site. Parking outside but you have to pay. I was on the ground floor, single bed a bit cramped. Could do with refurbishment, a bit tired looking. No cooked breakfast available. decor. Very dated. The décor was poor. Our bathroom was the worst bit of DIY I have seen in a long time. The included breakfast was only continental, with no English option. A number of minor problems with the room. Window in room needs fixing ; shower door very difficult to open from inside ( a problem if you are on your own!) ; three drawers didn't open ; no clothes hangers ; TV only one channel. None of them major, but they all added up!. Didn't like no cooked breakfast even when requested and told on arrival. Decor ,outdated and tatty. Window did not open very much and room very hot.Limited shelf /hook storage. Very run down. No shelf in Bathroom/toilet, all personal toiletry items had to be left on floor. One Fire Extinguisher was labelled 'condemned'. There wan no Restuarant or Bar as advertised, and Breakfast was Continental only. not being able to use the balcony as it is shown on website. owner's husband was rude when I had a problem with the TV. could not access Wi fi. Very disappointing, from the outside it looked very shabby and it didn't get any better inside in need of total upgrading the wallpaper was hanging off the walls, dark & gloomy. everything. More of a boarding house than a hotel. Everything tired and out of date. Our shower didn't work and we had to leave but the owner who we never met refuted what we said and wouldn't reimburse us for that or the nights we didn't stay. Still waiting for money owed.
