We stayed in the double room and it was big for a B&B. The bathroom was small but it was really not as bad as what the other reviewers said. The staircase up was not that narrow either. Breakfast selection was excellent!! As it was low season, we were the only guests during breakfast. However, I wouldn't have minded the round table where you can share your travel stories with other guests. alle beoordelingen »
The place was lovely and the staff were even better! They let us borrow some cuff links as we were there for a wedding and forgot ours. So pleasant and friendly and went out if their way to help us. We would defiantly stay here again. The breakfast was very nice too.
A very pleasant and comfortable hotel in the centre of Dartmouth. An older property with loads of charm.
We particularly like the concept of sharing a breakfast table with other guests.
Will certainly attempt to stay here on our next visit.
I was staying by myself but was made to feel very welcome and comfortable. The location was great, close to town centre, parking and the naval college. I have already rebooked for December and for next May!.
Location was great. Right in the old town near lots of shops and eateries. Great fast wi fi. Marvellous cooked to order breakfast. Communal dining table with interesting breakfast chats.
The central location was great, parking permit was a brilliant idea and very reasonable. Loved breakfast around the big table with other guests! Bev and Geoff great hosts.
Welcoming, caring hosts who run a comfortable clean and convenient place to stay, providing an excellent breakfast to start the day.We would certainly stay here again.
The owners were very friendly and helpful.
The building was full of character and quirkiness, but still managed to be very comfortable.
The breakfasts were superb.
Geoff and Bev were so friendly and would do anything to make our stay comfortable. Because of road/building works close by Geoff even "talked" us in!.
Very clean, fabulous breakfast, very friendly, good location apart
from the trouble with the one-way street which is closed off on the
other entry.
Friendly owners & peace and quiet. Superb location in middle of town. Excellent breakfast + help with parking permit. Will definitely return!.
The splendid breakfast and the quiet considering it was in the town. It was ideal to walk to the harbour and catch the cruise boats.
Friendly and with very good breakfast.
Very good location with easy access to the town.

Warm welcome and good breakfast round the table with the other guests,
which opened up interesting conversations.Ideal location for town

several car parks which was fantastic. Bev and Geoff helped us plan
walks and provided maps and phone numbers. They were lovely.

Well located in Dartmouth.
very good position for the town of Dartmouth
Breakfast good.
Clean.
Nothing.
Nothing.
Not much. Rooms are a bit small, but it is a converted ancient building.
Seagulls!.
The one way road system made it difficult to find Cherubs Nest the first time.A detailed road map would have helped.
Nothing.
Although we were very lucky to park our car in the road outside Cherubs Nest each night I could see this might be a problem for some people as the public car park was a little distance away. However, this is how Dartmouth is with very narrow streets. We were provided with a parking permit to use in the car park, so everything which could be done to help visitors was done.
Tv at right angle to bed head, very awkward to watch without getting
stiff neck..
Rather small room with little space and access to the shower restricted.
Bathroom bit small.
Room was sufficient in size but on verge of being cramped.
There was nothing we didn't like.
room rather small at the top of three flights pf stairs.
Parking away from the hotel, although a parking permit for the nearby public car park was available.
Rooms are very small, but quaint.
Bathroom was very small, as was the bedroom.
very small.

Nothing.
Room very small .
Limited hanging space and draught coming from cupboards, also difficult to wash in tiny basin.
Some people may not like one large table for breakfast. It did not bother us and it was beautifully presented.
nothing.
En-suite and dining room were very small.
No car park.
Bed not comfortable at all.
Tiny room and even tinier bathroom made it a bit of a squash- but the
price was so reasonable we couldn't complain. Seagulls, at this time
of year, were squealing all night - take earplugs. Apparently it's
quiet once the young have been weaned!.
small room at top of steep stairs. Very tiny en-suite bathroom was a bit of a challenge!.
Small room, thin walls, very basic bathroom.
Ensuite incredibly small!.
Supposed to be 4 star status and definitely NOT. Twin bedded room with one at each each. No wardrobe. Breakfast round family table.
Bad location - no parking
Room too small for two people.
Price of £80 for very pokey accomodation. Previous night a 4 star hotel in Exeter Cathedral Close cost £90 We were told breakfast served at 08.30.but we had to leave 08.00.. There was no offer to provide any cold breakfast.
