  The staff were excellent with kids especially when we spent most of the day in hotel cos it was raining & they catered 4 us at lunchtime even though lunchtime was over they made sandwiches for us all & even the kids making a noise didn,t faze them at all! A lovely scottish family friendly cosy hotel - Excellent home cooked food. very comf... wat mensen zeggen » ortable bed. Well equipped room i.e. hairdryer, tea and coffee, shower mat, radio and television and more all provided in the room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay there again.

  Ik had een 1 persoons kamer geboekt maar kreeg een kamer met zowel een dubbel als een engkel bed. Aangezien ik 1mtr.98 ben was het geen enkel probleem om in het 2persoons bed te slapen. Tevens heb ik gebruik gemaakt van de keuken en het avond eten was erg goed, - The hotel is fantastic it has not been modernised like so many others, it has a person... wat mensen zeggen » ality and character of its own. I would reccomend it to anyone. The grounds are beautiful and situated next to a dairy farm. Simply lovely and no noise except for the birds. - It was cold outside but the welcome was very warm and the log fire in the bar very pleasant indeed.

  The staff at the market inn hotel could not be faulted the hotel was nice for what we wanted. We suffered a breakdown on the way down to the hotel and thought we wouldn't make it for our booking, we called the hotel to inform them and they were happy enough to alter the booking if necessary! On arrival the staff were lovely and even though we ar... wat mensen zeggen » rived after final serving of food the manager ensured we got a toastie and some chips which was nice! The food at the hotel was fantastic and worth t - I liked that it was a small hotel, it was clean comfortable and the staff were very attentive,the food was excellent and good value for money, we stayed on a Sat & Sun night and although they tell you about the noise due to weekend events, we heard very little noise and our room was at the front of the hotel.
