  Carperby is a typical Dales small village, with a small number of Stone cottages/houses close to Leyburn & Hawes. The Wheatsheaf is a lovely friendly pub/hotel with 15 rooms and has some wonderful views, walks and local attractions. The management, Claire offer a clean comfortable environment with typical Yorkshire hospitality & good qua... wat mensen zeggen » lity food (also nice log fire on cold days) A lively bar is frequented by many locals to provide a great atmosphere. Local beers & quality wines - From the minute we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. The staff are so welcoming & really cannot do enough for you. Our room which was room 9 was a four poster & it was lovely, absolutely spotless. Food is great, also the real ales. Claire & Emily are great hosts, and really made our stay fantastic. We will be returning again very soon. Would highly recommended the Wheatsheaf, brilliant place, great location, absolutely stunning views.
