The staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and tidy. The breakfast is the most enjoyable continental breakfast I have ever seen in hostels, and there are free dinner nights. There is a living room where you can watch films and play video games. The locaton is excellent, just ten minutes walk to the castle.

Stayed in an apartment not hotel. Ideally situated, great value and extremely clean and comfortable. Will definitely return. ligging , tegenover oude kasteel is mooi - I am disabled and don't get out of the house very often. and very rare get a good nights sleep. the comfort of the room and bed was excelent .I had the best sleep the night I stayed at the Hilton that I have had in months . a wonderful hotel. Staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly.
Rooms are well appointed with everything you need. TV with loads of channels, tea/coffee, iron, hair-dryer, alarm clock and phone.
Bathrooms usually have bath with shower over but I have had a room with just the shower which is fine for me. Towels are really big and fluffy which earns brownie points from me.
Bar area is comfy and bar staff lovely. Had lunch here which was very tasty altho a bit pricey for a sandwich
I only used restaurant for breakfast

The best weekend thanku - The staff were particularly helpful with information for my grand daughter related to 'Doctor Who' . This was the reason for our visit to Cardiff. As a birthday present for a teenager who is mad about the programme. She had a lovely chat to your doormen who seem very knowlegable about the whole subject. The rooms have a wonderful veiw.

... wat mensen zeggen » Have stayed in a few Mercure hotels now, including Carcassonne and Cologne and cannot fault this chain of hotels. This is definately my favourite chain. As for the Holland House in Cardiff i was a fantastic experience, with great facilities and lovely rooms! 10 out of 10!

We had dinner on one occasion and breakfast on both mornings of our stay at the hotel and all three meals wee superb. - easy to get to , facilities were very good. staff were very helpful as one of the 2 rooms booked did not get to the hotel system. It was remedied with no fuss or problem
