  Very friendly staff, and the bathroom facilities were excellent - very clean and convenient, since the toilet and the shower were together. The 4-room female dorm I stayed in had ample space. This was very different and miles better than the backpackers place I stayed at in London. It's also quite easy to find - only about 5 to 10 min away from th... wat mensen zeggen » e coach and rail station. And all this for only £17 per night! - The staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and tidy. The breakfast is the most enjoyable continental breakfast I have ever seen in hostels, and there are free dinner nights. There is a living room where you can watch films and play video games. The locaton is excellent, just ten minutes walk to the castle.

  Everything, for the price it was one of the best hotels ive stayed in, staff were lovely and extreamely helpful. Rooms were clean and the bed was so comfy. Wet room was fine didnt have any problems with drainage etc, which I understand some people have had in the past. - The staff were very helpful and welcoming.   Nice welcome on arrival. Good sized room with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Our room was on the road side of the building and as it was a warm night we needed the window open. Noise from the traffic was quite loud. Decided to eat in the restaurant and I'm so glad we did. What a fantastic dinner! Not much in the way of choice, but that d... wat mensen zeggen » idn't matter, I had the pork and my partner had the chicken and both were top quality meals. Exceptionally well presented and superb to eat. The staff - The staff. The General Manager (Gerry) and/or Neil were often present to ensure that the needs of our group of 8 "mature gentlemen" were catered for. All the staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. We all enjoyed the breakfast and dinner experiences. Thanks to the staff for helping to make a great rugby weekend - despite the result of the big match! We'll be back!

  Very cheap, excellent value, very friendly staff, easy access. Very well positioned for Cardiff visit for rugby international (and Wales thrashed England as well! Thanks for arranging that!). We'll definitely be returning in future if there's availability. - Great location, short walk from the train station, right in the centre of town.   Anita was extremely friendly and helpful from the moment we entered to the hotel. Thanks. The bed was big enough, all housekeeping staff were respecting our privacy. We have seen that the room was tidy and new towels were given every day, but all of our personal staff was exactly where we left it.
